Lecture Description

Chapman gave a special presentation on the geographical history of Louisiana to ninth-graders from Andrew Jackson and Chalmette High Schools in the College Auditorium. He tried out a modified version of his regular, “A History: From New Orleans to St. Bernard,” scheduled for the following Monday. In addition to providing a nice lunch, the College also funded the transportation. The aim was to familiarize high school students with history, with Nunez, and with the finer points of college life.
