Lecture Description

 

 Paul Trotter, the Meteorologist in Charge with the National Weather Service, spoke about the technical aspects of hurricanes and preparedness efforts. “Junior” Rodriguez, St. Bernard Parish Councilman-at-Large, presented an oral history of Hurricane Betsy and also provided an updated overview of the current state of preparedness of the Parish. Christian Bordelon performed a monologue from Betsy: Voices from the Storm.
